“Small Talk with Consequences – Communication Between Virus and Cell”

How do viruses infiltrate our bodies? What actually happens when they come into contact with our cells? Understanding this microscopic dialogue is crucial for advancing prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of viral infections.

Our COMBINE coordinator Christian Sieben (HZI) explored this topic in a recent public science talk. Under the title “Small talk with consequences – Communication between virus and cell”, he provided an accessible and engaging look into the molecular interactions that occur when viruses meet their host cells, and the effects these processes can have on human health.

For everyone who missed the live event, the full recording is now available online. Watch the talk (in German) here.
